Sosido Networks is a web application which provides healthcare associations and their members with a better way to share knowledge: online, through trusted peers and mentors. Our vision is a world-wide, multi-disciplinary forum which supports the work of healthcare professionals and the associations which serve them, and creates better ways to deliver care and improve patient outcomes. Features include:
- Article Stream: Members receive newly-released articles from their association members, and from chosen journal feeds. Their association chooses default feeds, then members can add or change their feed subscriptions to fit their interests. Members can recommend or discuss articles of importance to them.
- Profiles, Publications & Colleagues: Members have profiles with their publications automatically updated as indexed on PubMed. Members can search and browse for colleagues who share similar research or practice interests, then "follow" them to receive updates on their new publications and professional activities.
- Question & Answer: Members can ask and answer practice questions from their association colleagues.
- "Sosido Notes" Email Digest: Members receive "Sosido Notes", a weekly email digest of new questions, publications and resources from their association colleagues, as well as newly-released articles from their chosen journal feeds.
